Living Well with Mobility Limitations
Mobility Limitations can be a risk factor for several conditions and lead to increased isolation and loneliness. A carer helps to make your home more accessible.
The subject of death & dying can provoke a range of responses & emotions amongst people of any age; denial, sadness, anger, confusion, anxiety. This video, “We’re Doing Dying All Wrong!” is just over four years old but still resonates today.
It is an accessible & common sense presentation on the critical personal & community-related issues associated with death & dying in the very elderly. Early on in the talk, Ken Hillman the presenter (speaking to a live audience) states:
“This is a talk about death & dying, it’s too late to leave & the doors are locked!”
This characterises the gentle humour & realistic style that permeates his 15 min. session. Highly recommended viewing! Please share with family, friends & colleagues.
